The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Tamlu, T. Lankonsen Tsanglao, NCS has, issued a public notice regarding the publication of the draft electoral roll for the 49 Tamlu Assembly Constituency. According to the notice issued under Form 5, the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and is available for inspection at the ADC Office, Tamlu, the office of the concerned Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), and polling stations through the respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during office hours.

The qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral roll is October 1, 2026.The notice stated that claims for the inclusion of names in the electoral roll, as well as objections to the inclusion of names or to particular entries, may be submitted on or before October 20, 2026, using Form 6, Form 7, or Form 8, as applicable.

Claims and objections can be submitted at the ERO, ADC Office, Tamlu, to the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (49 Tamlu AC), or the concerned BLOs at polling stations. Applicants may also submit their claims online or send them by post to the ADC Office, Tamlu, ensuring that they reach the office by the stipulated deadline.

The notice further informed eligible Indian citizens attaining the age of 18 years with reference to the subsequent qualifying dates in 2026—April 1, July 1, and October 1—that they may also submit advance applications in Form 6. Disposal of such claims will be undertaken with reference to the respective qualifying dates.
