The Draft Electoral Rolls for the 4-Ghaspani-I and 5-Ghaspani-II Assembly Constituencies under Chümoukedima district have been published 20th of September 2026 in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Photo Electoral Rolls, 2026.

According to the notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Chümoukedima, the draft electoral rolls have been prepared with October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date and are available for inspection at the offices of the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), as well as at the polling stations during office hours. The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, has also listed Ghaspani-I and Ghaspani-II among the 2026 constituencies covered under the electoral-roll exercise.

Electors have been informed that any claim for inclusion of a name or objection to the inclusion of any name or to particulars in the Draft Electoral Roll may be filed on or before October 20, 2026.

For 4-Ghaspani-I Assembly Constituency, the notice has been issued by T. Lemlila Sangtam, NCS, Electoral Registration Officer, while the notice for 5-Ghaspani-II has been issued by P. James Swu, NCS, Electoral Registration Officer.

Claims and objections may be submitted in the prescribed Form 6, Form 7 or Form 8, as applicable. In the case of the district-wide SIR schedule, the claims and objections period runs from September 20 to October 20, 2026.

Citizens have also been informed that the list of claims and objections will be made available on the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland website and displayed on the notice boards of the respective ERO offices on working days.

The Special Intensive Revision is being undertaken to ensure that eligible citizens are included in the electoral roll and that the electoral rolls remain accurate and updated. The final electoral roll for the State is scheduled to be published in November 2026.
