Kiphire District Task Force on COVID-19 held a join meeting with the DTF members and Health workers under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & DTF chairman Kiphire, T.Wati Aier on 30th October 2021 at DPDB hall, Kiphire.

Deliberating about the re-opening of schools, the members decided to resume classes with 50% attendance maintaining all the COVID-19 protocols as laid down by the Government. It decided that all the teachers and non-teaching staff should get vaccinated if not to provide COVID-19 testing certificate every 15 days so as to prevent outbreak of COVID-19 for conducting smooth regular classes in the schools.

       DC asked SDEO, Kiphire to disseminate the information to all the schools within the Kiphire District regarding re-opening of schools. Aier also stated the District Administration will check all the schools whether the schools are following all the SOP issue by the government or not from time to time Kiphire.

CMO Kiphire informed that testing is very less in the District and urged everyone to follow all the guidelines and also to be more careful with the upcoming festive season. He also encourage those teachers who have not been vaccinated to avail the opportunity for their safety as well as for the students.
