As part of the Independence Day celebrations, an exhibition football match between Morning Premier League II (MP2-II) and IGS Academy (Girls team) took place at Secretariat Plaza in the evening. The exciting match saw MP2-II secure victory with a score line of 6-3.

During the program, Abhijit Sinha IAS, Home Commissioner, distributed prizes and honorariums to parade contingents for both uniformed and non-uniformed categories. Notably, the 1st prize was awarded to 78 Bn. CRPF, the 2nd prize to 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Bn, and the 3rd prize to 37 Bn BSF in the uniformed category. For the non-uniformed category, 24 Nagaland (I) Company NCC secured the 1st prize, followed by 1 Air Squadron NCC in 2nd place and Bharat Scouts & Guides in 3rd.

To enhance the evening's festivities, the Nagaland Police PTS Brass Band and 1 Assam Rifles Pipe Band showcased mesmerizing band displays, culminating in the captivating beating of retreat.
