All concerned have been hereby informed that forest officers and staffs are exempted from the purview of COVID-19 lockdown measures inorder to carry their various essential duties and activities. The staff/ workers of forest department are required to operate and maintain zoo, nurseries, wildlife, fire-fighting in forest, watering plantations, patrolling and their necessary transport movements in and around the Kiphire district.

Therefore, all the village councils are to take note of the exemption given to the forest department for carrying out their various essential duties and activities and ensure that their works are not hampered.
