In the interest of public service in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and to maintain various austerity measures in the State for savings in all Departments, the Government of Nagaland has banned all fresh appointments including vacancies arising against sanctioned posts in all Government Departments until further orders. This will not apply to medical staff (Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Para-medics) of Health & Family Welfare Department who have been given a special dispensation vide this Department's notification of even number dated 1st April, 2020.

This instruction is issued in pursuance of the Cabinet's decision conveyed vide Office Memoranda No.CAB-2/2013(Pt) dated 6th Feb, 2020 and No. CAB-2/2013 dated 21st April, 2020.
