The Scholarship is disbursed after receiving the requisite fund from the Central Ministry.

Aadhar Seeding & Direct Benefit Transfer:

Aadhar Seeding means mapping the account in a central mapper so that scholarships land in that exact account of the beneficiary through Direct Benefit Transfer. You can seed your Aadhar and enable DBT for only one active bank account at a time. Students are therefore advised to ensure that their bank account is Aadhar seeded and enabled for DBT payment by visiting their bank branch to avoid delay in payment process.

Students are required to check their application status periodically by logging into their scholarship account through the same portal and carry out the necessary steps within the timeline provided.

The general public and all concerned students are further informed that submitting an application does not guarantee scholarship payment. Selection remains subject to the accuracy and validity of the information and documents uploaded online by the student.

Students and parents/guardians are hereby advised to rely solely on official communications issued by the Directorate of Higher Education and the designated scholarship/department websites for all matters relating to Scholarship. They are further requested to exercise caution and refrain from relying on unverified information, unofficial sources or intermediaries regarding the same.
