Presently, Eighty Four (84) COVID 19 cases are admitted at the 100 bedded capacity at COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur, out of which 60 are male and 24 females. With the occupation of 84 beds, 6 reserved for pediatric cases and another 6 being ICU beds the vacant status of COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur remains at 4 beds according to reliable resources. 12 positive cases admitted in the COVID-19 hospital Dimapur has tested negative for the 2nd time and recovered and were shifted in Tourist Lodge Dimapur.

Truenat which was commissioned on 8th June 2020 at Dimapur is being manned 24x7 by 9 lab technicians who has been trained by medical expert (pathologist) from ICMR, and testing is going on.

Meanwhile 2 COVID-19 positive cases (husband and wife) who were kept in isolation unit DImapur has been shifted at Naga Hospital Authority KohimaWednesday evening by ambulance on humanitarian grounds. The couple were asymptomatic and were found fit to travel and since NHAK has a cancer unit they had to be shifted as the wife was a cancer patient and her primary problem had to be urgently attended.
