The Bhandari Sub-Division, Wokha celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26th January 2026 at the Public Ground, Bhandari, with MLA & Chairman SDPDB Bhandari, Achumbemo Kikon as the Special Guest.
The MLA unfurled the National Flag, took the Rashtriya Salute and read out the Republic Day speech.
Levi Zeliang, ABI from the 7th NAP was the Parade Commander, and Yanphamo Lotha, ABSI from the 7th NAP was the Platoon Commander. This was followed by the students contingents from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Bhandari and 7th NAP Unit School, Bhandari
Sales and exhibition stalls were put up by the office of APRO Bhandari, Agricultural Department, Sub District Industries Centre, and Rainbow Cluster Level Booth Federation under R.D Block Bhandari.
