The "Swachhata Hi Seva" fortnight which will be observed from 14th September to 2nd October 2024 with the theme "Swabhav Swachhata -Sanskar Swachhata" was launched by Tizit Town Council on 13th September 2024.

Mobilising wide spread citizen action and ownership for Swachhata, the meeting discussed and chalked out various action plan to be carried out during the campaign.

The launching programme was attended by all Ward Chairman and GBs, School Headmasters and Headmistress under Tizit town, head of offices under Tizit sub-division, Konyak Union, Tizit Town Public Union, Tizit Area Students Union, Tizit Town Baptist Church, Tizit Town Students Union, Green Ply Industries and Paramount Tea.

The programme was conducted by SDO (c) Tizit, Tumben P Tsanglao who also administered the Swachhata Pledge.
