“Good evening,
Till date a total of 862 samples have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 806 samples have been received and all are negative. Results for 58 samples are awaited. Today a total of 7565 persons have been screened and a total of 100 persons are under Facility Quarantine.
In connection to the dedicated Nagaland COVID-19 Toll Free Helpline Number 1800- 345-0019 as of 4.00 pm on 9th of May 2020 a total of 193 calls have been received, out of which 46 calls were related to telemedicine consultation.
The citizens of Nagaland stranded in different parts of the country who are desirous of returning to the State have started applying through the returnees’ declaration form on the website iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in , and as at 4 P.M. today, more than 15,500 have applied and have requested Government arrangement for transportation .
I would like to inform that the Inter-District movement of stranded persons to their home districts which started on 7th of May 2020 and continued up till yesterday, so far, a total of 7,409 passengers in 281 buses have travelled back to their respective districts from various locations of the State.
The State Government has decided to further extend the date for inter-district movement of stranded persons from 11th May 2020 to 13th May 2020 with the condition that preference will be given to those stranded persons who have registered themselves up to the 8th of May 2020 at the Facilitation Centers. Further, any stranded person wishing to travel in a vehicle at his or her own arrangement and cost, are also allowed during the above relaxation period after getting permit from the respective DC.
