As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 910 samples have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 889 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 21 samples are awaited. Today, a total of 6054 persons have been screened and a total of 957 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
Today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister visited Zunheboto and Phek and reviewed the preparedness for combating COVID-19, inspected the COVID hospitals and held meetings with the District Administration, Police, Medical, Agriculture and allied Departments, Food & Civil Supplies, the District Task Forces and the Civil Societies. At Zunheboto, the Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by Shri Y. Patton, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri S. Pangnyu Phom, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri G. Kaito Aye, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture & Cooperation, Shri K. T. Sukhalu, Hon’ble Advisor for School Education and Shri H. Khehovi Yepthomi, Hon’ble Advisor for Tourism and Art & Culture. At Phek, the Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by Shri Y. Patton, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Shri S. Pangnyu Phom, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Neiba Kronu, Hon’ble Minister for Planning & Coordination, LR, Parliamentary Affairs, Shri K. T. Sukhalu, Hon’ble Advisor for School Education, Shri Kazheto Kinimi, Hon’ble Advisor for CAWD & NSDMA, Shri Kuzholuzo Nienu, Hon’ble MLA and Shri Kezhienyi Khalo, Hon’ble MLA.
As on 4: 30 pm today, a total of 2,668 citizens of Nagaland presently outside the State, have voluntarily opted for staying back at their present places, and filled up the required form on the portal iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in for availing the one-time assistance for Rs 10,000 (ten thousand).
Regarding arrival of stranded people into Nagaland from other North Eastern States, a total of 1,084 persons have already arrived till date.
As per the revised Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for management of travelers, patients and the attendants issued by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, it is mandatory for all returnees from outside the State to register themselves in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland- Visitors App and Aarogya Setu App. For any technical support, one may contact the toll free helpline No. 1800-345-0019.
