The full text is as follows:

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 978. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 978 positive cases, the total active cases are 546, and 432 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 543 active cases are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild and 1 active case is moderate.

Till date, a total of 18,331 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 17,438 samples have been received.

In addition, a total of 11,998 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 11,279 samples have tested negative, and 361 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2,918 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
