Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K,IAS issued an order in view of the active case detected in Dimapur, some of the areas at Dimapur like Marwari Patti, Ghorapatty including Zion Hospital have been sealed. In this regard all such persons who have arrived in Mon District on or after 24th, March 2020 from Dimapur or other parts of the State and have visited the sealed areas market during their stay at Dimapur have been directed to inform the Mon District Control Room at 9862014033/9862078993/7005687775 about such visit, so as to enable the COVID - 19 District Task Force (DTF), Mon to take suitable preventive measures.

DC Mon also issued an order in view of the active case detected in Shillong, all such persons who have arrived in Mon District on or after March 22,2020 from Shillong, Meghalaya are directed to inform the Mon District Control Room at 9862014033/9862078993/7005687775 about the same, so as to enable the COVID-19 District Task Force (DTF), Mon to take suitable preventive measures.

Failure to comply with the advisory will attract legal action as per the provisions of law.
