In connection with the unfortunate incident that happened at Wokha on 13th April 2020, involving an employee of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority and Police personnel on duty, the matter has been discussed between the Police team led by the SP Wokha, SDPO and the Lotha Eloe Hoho in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner & ADC Wokha, and amicably settled the matter after mutual understanding by all parties concerned. It is also decided that the matter would not be pursued further by any of the parties concerned. Hence it is appealed to all not to revive the issue, circulate the video clip or make comments pertaining to this incident which has been amicably settled.

In connection to the unfortunate incident that happened at Wokha on 17th April 2020 involving a Dental Doctor and police personnel on duty, it is hereby clarified that on the same day of the incident, the police team led by the SP Wokha, SDPO Wokha, OC Wokha Police Station, the Doctor and his family members and some members of the Wokha Medical fraternity, in the presence of ADC Wokha & SDO (C) Wokha, amicably settled the matter after mutual understanding by all the parties concerned. It was also decided that the matter would not be pursued further by any of the parties concerned. Hence it is appealed to all not to revive the issue which has been amicably settled.

Since the beginning, all frontline workers including the Police and medical fraternity with support from the public have been fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and work will be continued with all the stakeholders as partners with a relentless commitment to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Wokha District.
