A meeting was held at the office chamber of Principal Director, Health & Family Welfare with the Professional Council of Nagaland on 4th April 2020. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, HFW, Mission Director NHM and other Department officials.
In the meeting, the council agreed to give their valuable help in this time of crisis. Relatively, a plan will be made jointly for engagement of the members of the fraternity in case of any eventualities.
As of 3rd April 2020, 60 (Sixty) professionals from various councils have agreed to volunteer from all over Nagaland. The Department of health & family welfare also appealed to all the professionals to volunteer themselves in combating against the present health crisis.
The professional council includes members from the Medical Council of India, Ayush Council, Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council, Dental Council, Technician Council, etc. All the councils will be submitting the list of registered members.
