The Government of Nagaland has permitted the resumption of conduct of regular classes for students of classes 5 (five) to 10 (ten) in all the Schools in Nagaland in the urban areas with up to 50% attendance with effect from 1st October 2021, vide para 3(iii) of Order No.NSDMA-ER-COVID19/301/2021(Part-II) dated 16th September 2021;

Union Minister, Tourism, Culture & DoNER, Government of India G.Kishan Reddy unveiled the plaque and laid the foundation stone for "IN - Service Teachers Training cum Examination Centre With Residential Facilities" at Pherima, Medziphema on 25th September 2021.
While addressing the foundation programme, G.Krishnam Reddy said it was one of the important events of education department in the state level to have this training centre for teachers with residential facilities.

Addressing a public gathering at the Nagaland State Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur, Reddy observed that the particular road was very important for Dimapur city, as the bypass road would ease traffic congestion in Dimapur main road besides improving social and trade relations between different areas

In the recent mortalities of Buffaloes from unspecified disease at Kangjan Village under Meluri Sub-division, Phek District, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services has conducted Laboratory test to specify the etiology of the disease from ELISA laboratory, Kohima.
It was confirmed from the isolate that the etiology of the disease was a Gram negative, Coccobacilli, Bipolar organism called Pasteurellamultocida.
