The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) will be conducting the 3rd Quarterly National LokAdalat (People’s Courts) sitting in all the district headquarters on September 11. This is the 3rd Quarterly National LokAdalat to be held in 2021-2022.

STATE LEVEL ENVIRONMENT IMPACT ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY CONSTITUTED
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (3) of section 3 of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 and in pursuance to the Notification dated September 14, 2006 of the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, the Central Government vide gazette notification dated October 20th 2020 has notified the constitution of State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) for Nagaland.

The State Government has informed that in pursuance of the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench Order dated 01.09.2021 in PIL No 10/2021, the P&AR department's Office Memorandum No.AR-5/ASSO/98 (Vol-I) dated 16th July 2021 for partial lifting of appointments shall remain suspended till further orders.
