The Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Mokokchung along with KVK Mokokchung celebrated the World Soil Day on 5th December 2021 at DCSO conference hall, Mokokchung under the theme “Halt soil salinization, boost soil productivity” to commemorate the 75th years of India’s independence of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsa”.

In view of the Stone Pulling Ceremony at Peducha (Kiruphema), to be organised by the Western Angami 'D' Sports Association on 7th December 2021, DC Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has advised the public to follow the under mentioned alternate route for vehicular movement along National Highway 29 from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM: Peducha Bridge to Tsiesema (10 Mile. Road) - for Kohima/ Dimapur bound vehicles and Sechü Zubza to Peducha via Kiruphema - for Dimapur bound vehicles only.
