Tuensang District Task Force for COVID 19 had a meeting at DC’s conference hall, Tuensang on 30th November 2021 under the chairmanship of ADC Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma. 

The task force members reviewed the latest SOPs issued by the State Government. The house discussed on the concern of new variant of COVID -19 during the time of festivity and expectations of returnees from outside the district.

Nagaland Board of School Education has notified for the information of the Heads of Registered Institutions that the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education And Literacy, Government of India has notified that the National Commission for Women (NCW) has set up a dedicated round the clock (24*7) Helpline Number (7827170170) for women in distress.

Following the directive of the State Home Department, a mass social work was conducted on 30th November, 2021 at District Headquarter, Peren under the supervision of the Peren District Administration.

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed that a meeting of the Peren District Task Force on COVID-19 and Peren District COVID Vaccination Committee has been convened on 2nd December, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Peren.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has informed all Heads of Offices posted at Kohima HQ and Gaon Buras under Kohima Sadar (Urban And Rural) that there will be Compulsory Attendance during the celebration of 59th Statehood Day at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza.

In that regard, all Head of District Offices and Gaon Buras have been directed to kindly attend the same. It further informed that appropriate action shall be initiated against any absentee.
