In pursuance of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) and State Executive Committee (SEC) decision, the State Government has declared that the office of Home Commissioner shall also function as Commissioner Disaster Management/ Relief Commissioner and Administrative Head of Department (AHoD) for the Secretariat of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Home Department, established as per the provision of Disaster Management Act 2005 Section 14 (1).

Addl. Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration officer Zunheboto Hito Sema  has notified  that the list of amendment to the draft electoral roll for the 31-Akuluto, 32-Atoizu, 33-Suruhuto, 34-Aghunato, 35-Zunheboto and 36-Satakha Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to  1st January 2021 as qualifying date and in accordance with Registration of Electoral Rules 1960.

Mon District planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of January 2021 will be held on 15th January 2021 at DC's Conference Hall at 11 a.m. All the DPDB members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.

Asstt. Development Commissioner (Plg) & member Secretary DPDB, Wokha, P. Nchumbemo Kikon has informed all DPDB members that the monthly DPD meeting for the month of January 2021 will be held at Governor Camp, Liphanyan on 28th January 2021 at 11:00 AM.

Therefore, all the members have been requested to attend the meeting positively. Liphanyan, being one of the aspirational villages, all the implementing departments are requested to come prepared for review of the activities.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A has informed all the concerned landowners that land compensation for Kohima-By-Pass, 2-Lane Project - chainage 0+00 to 10+500 (1st package) shall be paid in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima on 15th January 2021 at 10:00 A.M.

DC and District Election Officer Kohima Mohammed Ali Shihab A has informed that in connection with the final publication of photo electoral roll pertaining to Special Summary Revision as the qualifying date, a meeting will be held on 15th January 2021 at 9:30 AM in the conference Hall office of the DC Kohima.
