Taking a breather from Pandemic Covid-19 Lock down for 40 days, forty four stranded/stressed persons from Kiphire have been transported to Kohima and Dimapur on 7thMay 2020, in accordance with the Government notification issued for transition of people within the state.
Medical examination/screening for every individual going out from Kiphire was carried out at the District Hospital Kiphire yesterday, confirming medically fit in respect of all the Kohima and Dimapur bound travellers.
Deputy Commissioner Sarita Yadav IAS along with her Subordinating officers and SP police department were present during the departure. And they also gave proper briefing to all the outgoing passenger on protocols to be observed during the journey, and on reaching their destinations.
Four buses bearing registration no. NL-11-2755, NL-11-2018, NL-11-1940, NPCW-138 has departed from Kiphire town on 7th May 2020, under the guidance of two DEF personnel Chorise Sangtam Naik and Setsiba Sangtam ABC.
