State Emergency Operation Centre Control room COVID-19 Government of Nagaland Home Department has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 7th May 2020. The Principal Secretary Abhijit Sinha, stated that 15(fifteen) persons violated the lock down & curfew order and 17 (Seventeen) person were bound down while remedial steps action were taken.

The report stated that shops for food grains and groceries Milk and Medicine were opened in all the districts Except Wokha. Further, the report stated that, there was no restriction on movement of essential service providers like electricity, telecom facilities, medical facilities etc and personnel/workers in manufacturing units and commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and e-commerce.

Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions. In this regard, the report informed that there are 4(four) active relief camps where 355 (Three hundred fifty five) migrant labourers are housed and also from 5 (five) active food camps more than 950 (Nine hundred fifty) daily wagers/needy persons are provided with food and dry rations.
