Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued a press release on 29th May 2020, at 6:AM, that the State Nodal Officer, IDSP, Kohima reported that 1(one) person of Sao Chang College Quarantine Centre has tested positive for COVID-19, Consequently the person has been admitted to District COVID Hospital Tuensang and contact tracing has been initiated.

As per the latest report, the person is stated to be asymptomatic and in stable condition, With 1 (one) new positive case, the total COVID-19 positive cases in Tuensang stands at 5 (five) more tests results are awaited at the movement.
