The full text is as follows:

“Today, 7 more people who have returned to Nagaland have been tested positive for COVID-19. The total active cases in the state now stands at 25.  All the positive persons are being kept under medical observation at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. Further, active surveillance is going on to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Till date a total of 1934 samples have been tested. Results of 1371 samples have been received out of which 25are positive as mentioned above. Results for 563 samples are awaited. A total of 3526 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.

Through the Truenat testing machines so far a total of 63 samples have been tested and all are negative. 

Today, Shri Neiphiu Rio, Hon’ble Chief Minister inspected the Quarantine Centre at Ganeshnagar Industrial Estate, Dimapur. He expressed his gratitude to the Nagaland Police, the officers & jawans for converting it to a fully equipped Quarantine Centre with a capacity for 1070 persons within a short time. The Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by Shri S. Pangnyu, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Neiba Kronu, Hon’ble Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Jacob Zhimomi, Hon’ble Minister for PHED, Shri Temjen Imna Along, Hon’ble Minister for Higher and Technical Education & Tribal Affairs, Shri K.T. Sukhalu, Hon’ble Advisor for School Education and Shri Azheto Zhimomi, Hon’ble MLA.

A special train from Andhra Pradesh to the North East carrying 72 stranded persons of Nagaland reached Dimapur at around 10 pm yesterday night. Another Special Train from Jaipur carrying 358 stranded persons of Nagaland de-boarded at Lumding, Assam today in the morning and were ferried by buses to Dimapur. Besides the trains, 4 (four) buses carrying 128 stranded persons of Nagaland from Kolkata also reached Dimapur today.

A total of 12,836 citizens have signed up in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland – Visitors App since 23rd March 2020 and in the last 14 days 2298 persons have submitted their travel self-declaration. At present 2017 persons are being digitally monitored through the App.
