The State Emergency Operation Centre COVID-19 Control room has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 3rd June, 2020. Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha stated in the report that, while remedial steps taken against the violations 8 persons were bound down.

Further the report stated that, shops for food grains, groceries, medicine and milk were opened except Mokokchung. There was no report of any shortage of food grains, groceries, milk or medicine in the state.

The report stated that, there was no restriction on movement of essential service providers like electricity, telecom facilities, medical facilities etc and personnel/workers in manufacturing units and commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and e-commerce.

Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions. From 1 (one) active relief camps and from 2 (Two) active food camps 302 (three hundred two) persons of daily wagers/needy were provided with food and dry rations by Government and NGOs.
