The full text is as follows:

“Today, ­­­­5 samples tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 168. Out of this, the total active cases are 80, and 88 persons have recovered.

All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 80 active cases are asymptomatic.

Till date, a total of 5945 samples have been tested. Results of 4848 samples have been received and the results of 1097 samples are awaited. At the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), out of the 5945 samples, till today a total of 3005 samples have been tested and out of which 124 samples have tested positive.

A total of 6774 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.

A Special Train from Delhi with about 600 persons from Nagaland left Delhi today at around 6:30 pm. This train is expected to reach Dimapur on the 16th of June 2020 at around 5:00 am.

If anyone develops any signs and symptoms of Cough, Fever or Difficulty in Breathing, he or she should contact the Nagaland COVID-19 Helpline Number 1800 345 0019 of the Health & Family Welfare Department. Please practise frequent hand washing with soap and water or alcohol based sanitizers, follow respiratory etiquettes and social distancing measures. Kindly adhere to Government advisories and be regularly updated.”
