The daily report on Law & Order and Facilitation of Essential Goods & Services informed that one violation of the lock down has been reported as on July 1. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru while issuing the report added that as remedial steps against the violation of the lock down, two persons were bound down and a fine of Rs 200/- was imposed on defaulters for not wearing masks.

According to the report, all essential commodity shops remain opened in all districts except Mokokchung. The report also asserted that no shortage of essential commodities have been reported in any part of the State. It added that no movement restriction was imposed for the distribution of essential commodities and on e-commerce agents.

The report also informed that migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions were provided food & shelter and added that there is one active relief/shelter camp and one food camp.
