The 4th Inter-Ward League event organized by the Tening Town Youth Organization (TTYO) under Peren district was commenced at Local ground, Tening, Peren on 29th September 2025.
TTYO President, Bakam while addressing the gathering said, that this year’s event is being held under the theme “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”, emphasizing both grassroots sports promotion and environmental responsibility. As we promote grassroots football we also take a stand for our environment. We have taken small but meaningful steps today, he stated.
The week-long league featuring both football and volleyball competitions will culminate on 4th October 2025.
The inaugural program was graced by ADC Tening, K. Furhesie Nyuwi while the keynote address was delivered by TTYO President, Bakam. The program was chaired by Namdunchap Newmai. The program also featured a solo performance by Bamni, adding colour to the occasion.
