Under the direction of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)'s Order dated 24.03.2020 and as per the order of Ministry of Home Affairs, NO. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A) dated 14th April 2020 in exercise of the powers conferred under section 22 (h) Chief Secretary, Nagaland as Chairperson, State Executive Committee, has issued directions vide Order of even number dated 24.03.2020 to all Departments of the Government of Nagaland with the guidelines to implement lockdown measures, to contain the spread of COVID-19, in all parts of the State for a period of 20 days with effect from 25.03.2020.

The Chief Secretary has issued directions to all Departments that the lockdown measures will continue to remain in force upto 03.05.2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the State.
