DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has directed the Assistant Director of Supply, Dimapur and District technical team to ensure that the additional food grains under PMGKAY is issued/distributed by the FPS to the targeted group (PHH&AAY beneficiaries) through ePOS device without fail and to be alerted immediately in case of technical problem, the System Integrator (Integra) & NIC Dimapur.
Stating that the distribution of additional door grains @5kg/beneficiary/month Free of Cost under PMGKAY Scheme is meant for members of AAY and PHH Ration Card Holders, DC in an official letter addressed to Assistant Director of Supply, maintained that there is clear directive from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, New Delhi that all states to ensure the food grains are distributed through ePOS devices and details of each and every transaction should be reflected at Annavitran Portal. DC further cautioned that any laxity in the following directives will be viewed seriously and action as deemed fit will be taken without any further notice.
In another order the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has issued directions for strict implementation of the consolidated revised guidelines throughout Dimapur district with immediate effect upto 3rd May 2020.
In order to implement the containment measures, DC deputed the Executive Magistrates as Incident Commanders in the respective local jurisdiction. It was also mentioned that the Incident Commanders will be responsible for the overall implementation of the measures in their respective jurisdictions strictly as per directives and all other line department officials in the specified area will work under the directions of such Incident Commanders.
All industrial and commercial establishments, workplaces, offices etc., shall put in place arrangements for implementation of SOP. However, the consolidated revised guidelines will not apply in containment Zones. DC further informed that any person violating the lockdown measures will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Sec 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable.
