Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IASin the Law & Order report on COVID-19 as on 29th April 2020 has stated that 30 persons have violated the lock down. 34 persons were bound down with find imposed under MV Act- Rs, 25.600/- and 130 vehicles have been seized. Further, it has been reported that two person have been arrested under P.S Satakha on FIR as remedial steps against the violations.
With regard to supply of essential goods it has been informed that shops for food grains & groceries and shops for milk remain open in all the districts over the state except Mokokchung to regulate public movement.
The report further said that no restrictions have been imposed on movement of essential services providers personals or workers in manufacturing units of essential commodities, commercial vehicles etc. Arrangements are also being made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers effected by COVID-19 restriction keep on continued with four active relief camps where 469 migrant labourers were housed. In four active camps more than 2500 daily wagers and needy migrant workers were provided with food and dry ration.
