Peren District COVID-19 Task Force review meeting was held on 17th June, 2020 at customary court, ADC office Jalukie. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang and was also attended by Joint Action Committee (JAC) on COVID-19 members.

Since 28 days institutional quarantine period for returnees from Chennai is about to be completed after a day or two, the board members after a lengthy deliberation resolved to re-collect returnees samples selectively from quarantine centres and further run testing in Trunat Machine. The members also decided to direct village/ward Councils to keep Chennai returnees in respective community quarantine for 14 days more after they are released from their institutional quarantine centres arranged by District Administration.

During the meeting, discussion was also held in regard to 9 females & 5 male returnees who are considered as under exempted categories, wherein the DTF and JAC resolved to ascertain proper address before transporting them to their respective Sub-division.
