State Emergency Operation Centre Control room COVID-19 Government of Nagaland Home Department has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 14th May 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Hiazu Meru stated that 3(three) persons were Violated the Lock down process and 5 (five) persons were bound down and from various Sections fine imposed under MV Act =Rs, 54.550. Further the report stated that Vehicles Challaned 324.
Shops for food grains and groceries medicine were opened in all districts except Longleng and Wokha. Shops for Milk were also opened in all the districts Except Mokokchung, Longleng and Wokha and there was no report of any shortage of food grains, groceries, Milk, Medicine in the state.
Further, the report stated that, there was no restriction on movement of essential service providers like electricity, telecom facilities, medical facilities etc and personnel/workers in manufacturing units and commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and e-commerce.
Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions. 4 (four) active relief camps where 61 (Sixty one) labourers were housed and from 4 (four) active food camps more than 1370 (One thousand three hundred seventeen) daily wagers/needy people were provided with food and dry rations.
