Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force for COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has notified that in view of the phased relaxation of the lockdown measures with guideline as per Ministry of Home Affairs, the timing for opening of markets and shops at Wokha town has been relaxed from 7:00 Am to 4:00 PM from Mondays to Saturdays with effect from 1st June 2020.

However, hotels, restaurants, salons and beauty parlors will remain closed as notified earlier. Measures for social distancing and hygiene shall be strictly followed by all shopkeepers and the public.

Further, the DC informs that Odd and Even policy for private vehicles shall come in to force from 1stJune 2020. Movement of public and vehicles shall remain restricted from 6:00 PM till 6:00 AM on all working days including Sundays except for District Administration, Police and Medical department, medical emergencies and Government Officials on duty.
