Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha, issued report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for 8th April 2020. As per state round report 3 persons violated the lockdown & Curfew order and during remedial steps taken against the violations 9 people were bound down.

According to the report, all shops for food grains and groceries were opened in all the districts as report stated that Dimapur Mokokchung & Kiphire shops were closed. Shops for milk in the district of Mokokchung, Dimapur, and Kiphire also closed. Medicine shops opened in all the districts of the State.

On essential services, manufacturing, distribution no restriction was imposed on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels in the State. Except Dimapur there was no restriction on Movement of e- commerce agents in the state/UT.  In Dimapur, permits were issued to vehicles of transporting essential commodities. the report also stated that, Relief camp setup--2 for 364 stranded migrants and Food grains being provided to more than 8000 daily wages/needy people, stated the report.
