In view of the arrival of the stranded students/persons from outside the state and to ensure smooth management of the returnee and to assess the preparedness of the receiving team, a trail run was held at GHSS quarantine center, Wokha on 15th May 2020.
During the discussion Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Task Force for COVID-19, Orenthung Lotha highlighted on the role and responsibilities of the receiving team, segregation of all venerable groups like aged people, pregnant and lactating mothers, children’s in to different rooms.
The Dc also stated that to monitor entry of persons/visitors to the facility and ensure that the personnel should comply with instructions/including wear of mask correctly, well informed and trained security to check and guard (24X7) with register for ins and outs and a designated nursing officer for checking proper PPE. He also stressed on decontamination daily with disinfectants including surface mopping of all the rooms, bathrooms, toilets facility, under side of beds, other related items placed in the rooms of quarantine people.
CMO, Wokha also apprised on the arrangements made for receiving the stranded students and others, wherehe stated all are in place to receive the returnee. Three groups are being constituted with 5 members from each is formed to receive the returnee.
120 beds at GHSS and 100 beds at Mt.Tiyi college quarantine facility centers along with all other basics facilities are being arranged for the returnee. GHSS and Mt.Tiyi will be declared as containment zone once the stranded students and person arrives.
