Leaving no chances for slackness in its preparedness initiative for the COVID-19 pandemic risk prone inter-state border Sub-division, Bhandari, under Wokha district, Tiameren Chang, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, today issued a fresh order, dated the 14th of April, wherein it stated that setting up of Village Quarantine centre is made a compulsory for all the villages under Bhandari Sub-division.
The order stated that Quarantine facilities will be mandatorily set up in the villages, be it in Council hall, village rest house or at any other place deemed convenient for the concerned village.
The order further stated that as per Government Memorandum, dated the 28th of March, 2020, 50% of GIA allocated to the villages is to be utilized towards setting up of the the Village Quarantine centres and procurement of basic necessities for the same.
Stressing on strict compliance of the order, it also directed them to set up the facilities within seven days and to prove it's preparedness with a photographic evidence of the Quarantine centres.
