Kohima District Level Indigenous Games Competition will be held on 27th March 2021 at IG Stadium, Kohima. 

            District Sports Officer, Kohima, Dziesebeinuo Vizo has informed that the competition will be conducted in various disciplines like tug of war for both men and women ( 8 participants each), stilt bamboo race (men), greased bamboo pole climbing (men) and cock fight (men).

            The winners will be awarded with certificates along with cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/- and Rs. 5,000/- respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in Tug of War while for stilt bamboo race, greased bamboo pole climbing and cock fight the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders will be awarded Rs. 3,000/-, Rs. 2,000 /- and Rs. 1,000/- respectively. Moreover, the winners from each disciplines will represent Kohima district in the forthcoming State Level Indigenous Games Competition to be held on 8th & 9th April 2021 at I.G Stadium, Kohima.
