ATMA Longleng and KVK Longleng organised day-long district-level Krishi Mela of Kisan Bhagitari Prathmikta Hamari Campaign under Agadika Amrit Mahotsar 2022 along with the rest of the country on 26th April 2022. The program was chaired by DAO Longleng Sugangmar Longchar as the Special Guest.

 The Special Guest emphasized doubling the farmer's income through crop rotation and incorporating ITK in day-to-day farming activities.

The officials from Agri and Allied departments highlighted their ongoing schemes and projects available for the farmers.

Lily Nglue I/c Senior Scientist and head highlighted the cultivation of millets, oilseeds, biofortified crops, National farming, etc.

The highlights of the day included farmers-scientist interaction, felicitation of progressive farmers from Longleng, Tamlu, and Sakshi blocks for their contribution in the field of agriculture, Horticulture, and Livestock, Exhibition of agricultural tools and implements were also showcased during the program.

Altogether 107 farmers from different blocks and villages participated in the program. The program was chaired by Lanuakum DPD ATMA Longleng. Keynote address was proposed by T. Mhao Humtsoe, PD, ATMA & DSO Longleng.  The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Akum Zeliang, DPD, ATMA, Longleng.
