The Kuki Union Jalukie Town in collaboration with the Kuki Society 9th IR Bn. Saijang extended helping hand to the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on COVID-19 on 12th June, 2020.

A short programme was held in the residence of JAC Convenor, Dr. Tumda Newme at Jalukie 'B'. The Executives of the Union along with the Advisory Boards handed over a sum of INR 12,000/- to JAC convenor for use in the management of quarantine centres under the presence of Leaders of ZBCC, ZBN and Zeliang Welfare Organisation.

A prayer for all the inmates of quarantine centres and the leaders of JAC was pronounced by Kuki Baptist Fellowship Jalukie, Chaplain, Lamhao Sitlhou.
