Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate, Medo Yhokha has won the Bye-Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from the 14th Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency.
The Returning Officer for the 14th Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency in the State of Nagaland has certified and declared Medo Yhokha as elected to the said Constituency in the Bye-Election to be a member of the Legislative Assembly Nagaland on 10th November 2020.
The counting of votes was conducted in the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner Kohima. The counting of votes started at 8:00 A.M and concluded at around 5:50 with all the formalities carried out by maintaining and conducting all the counting procedures successfully.
The NDPP candidate won the seat by beating Naga People Front (NPF) candidate, Kikovi Kirha and Independent candidate, Seyievilie Peter Zashumo.
