Farewell programme in respect of Limawapang Jamir, DC Mokokchung was held at the DC's Bungalow, Mokokchung on 30th March 2022.

Limawapang Jamir who assumed the responsibility as DC Mokokchung in November 2019, in his farewell speech mentioned appreciation to all the legislators, officers, and staff of different departments, civil societies of the district, and all the people of Mokokchung for coming together and supporting him in all issues, especially in the fight against the COVID pandemic.

He maintained that health facilities in the district have improved because of the pandemic but much improvement was needed and requested the incoming DC to have a re-look at Health Sector.

The new DC, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS thanked the outgoing DC for all the support and guidance during their short stint together. The incoming DC asked the people of the Mokokchung to give full support and cooperation to uplift the district in all spheres through collective effort.
