KMC KOHIMA NOTIFIES ON MUNICIPAL ELECTION

ZUNHEBOTO POLICE ARRESTS ONE FOR POSSESSION OF DRUGS

Zunheboto Police as part of continued operation on war on drugs on 6th February 2023 during the election period intercepted a vehicle at Khitsakita in Zunheboto by a combined team of Atoizu Police Station and Static Surveillance Team (SST) whereby 200 bottles of cough syrup and 6,900 numbers of SP capsule were seized and one person namely Hukato Assumi S/O Nihokhu Assumi was arrested.

DC KOHIMA ISSUES DIRECTIVES

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C has, in an order, informed and directed the concerned general public that because of the forthcoming G20 Summit scheduled to be held on 5th April 2023, dumping of garbage/waste on the roadside along the stretch of Dimapur - Kohima National Highway and Old Dumping Site Kohima is strictly prohibited.

DISBURSEMENT OF BACKLOG DESTITUTE FUND IN KOHIMA

President Angami Women Organization, Neilhuzono Nagi has issued a press release referring to the Disbursement of the Backlog destitute fund 2019-20 regarding the beneficiaries under the scheme "Assistance to Destitute Women", Department of Women Resource Development, that for those who are yet to avail the assistance, another chance is being given to do so from AWO Ki (Angami Women Organization building) at D-Block.
