As part of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA), a block-level Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp was held at the Block Development Office, Tuli sub-division, Mokokchung, on 26th June 2025. The camp catered to beneficiaries from the villages of Merangkong, Asangma, and Aopenzu.
The DA-JGUA initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to improve rural living conditions through the saturation of flagship welfare schemes and direct engagement between implementing departments and the public. The camp served as a platform for villagers to access various government services and schemes under one roof.
Services provided included Aadhaar registration, old age, widow, and divyang pension schemes, the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI), health screening and consultation under the health camp and Ayushman Bharat, as well as schemes such as PM-KISAN, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), RDSS & VEMP, National Food Security Act (NFSA) ration card services, PMSBY, PMJJBY, Mudra Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, MGNREGA, and CMLIS, among others.
The camp was officially launched by Nukshimatong (NCS), SDO (Civil) and Border Magistrate, Tuli. Officials from various departments were present, including the Departments of Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies, the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Social Welfare, Rural Development, and Land Resources.
