The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, will remain closed from 6th – 9th April 2026, to facilitate the smooth shifting of the office to its new location.

Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS has informed to the general public of Mon town, that the 42 Assam Rifles will be conducting firing and explosive practice at the Unit Firing Range, Tactical Headquarters, Mon from 7th April to 30th April 2026 from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM.
During the said period, loud sound of firing and explosion may be heard in and around Mon Town and adjoining areas. Therefore, the public is advised not to panic, as part of routine training.

Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Sara S Jamir has informed to all the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) members of Niuland district that the monthly DPDB meeting for the month of April 2026 will be held on 7th April at 11 A.M in the DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland.
Therefore, all the DPDB members are requested to attend positively.
