DC MON NOTIFIES ON SALE AND USE OF FIRECRACKERS IN MON DISTRICT
Deputy Commissioner, Mon Wennyei Konyak, NCS has notified the regulation of sale and use of firecrackers in Mon District. The notification stated that Firecrackers are brought into Mon District from outside and are sold and used during Diwali and other festive occasions. It observed that the use of firecrackers may cause air and noise pollution and pose risk to public safety.
MON DPDB MEETING SCHEDULED ON 8TH OCTOBER 2026
Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman, DPDB Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS, informed all the DPDB members of Mon District, that the monthly DPDB meeting for the month of October 2026 will be held on 8th October 2026 (Thursday) at 11:30 AM in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Mon.

DC & DEO MON NOTIFIES ON MEASURES FOR FACILITATION OF ELECTORS AND SPECIAL ENROLMENT DRIVE DURING SIR

DC & DEO TSEMINYU INFORMS ON SIR
Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Tseminyu, Japheth Woch (NCS) has informed to all electors of 12-Tseminyu (ST) Assembly Constituency under Tseminyu District that to facilitate voters, the commission has taken the following decisions during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026:
1. During SIR, incase of any person to whom notice has been issued for being unmapped and for logical discrepancies, BLOs will visit the homes of such person for collection of
DC & DEO PHEK INFORMED ELECTORS ON SIR
DC & District Election Officer, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori has informed all concerned citizens of Phek district regarding SIR in the district.
1. In case of any person to whom notice has been issued for being unmapped and for logical discrepancies the BLOs will visit the home of such persons for collection of documents and thereafter upload them on ECINet, for decision by the ERO/AEROs.
Such person need not be called for hearing to ERO/AEROs office.
