The issue of regulating firecrackers in Nagaland which was raised in the Eighth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on 9th March 2026 at NLA Hall, Kohima, with MLA Nuklutoshi seeking clarity on why restrictions are often highlighted during Diwali while similar concerns appear less emphasized during Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations.

 
The status of modernization of Dimapur Railway Station was discussed during the Eighth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly at NLA Hall, Kohima on 9th March 2026 with members highlighting land issues and the need for an amicable settlement to facilitate the project.

The International Women’s Day 2026 commemorated with a Flower Show competition in Dzulhami village under Phek district of Nagaland on 6th March 2026. The program was held on the theme "Give to Gain" under the aegis of District Administration and SANKALP- District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Phek. 
The convergence department such as the Sakhi- OSC, Shakti Sadan and Child Helpline 1098, Phek also participated in the programme to ensure mass awareness on the significance of the day.
