ADC TULI BANS HEAVY VEHICULAR MOVEMENT ALONG THE WATIYONGPANG–CHANGTONGYA STRETCH

 

 

The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tuli, has banned movement of all heavy vehicles along the Watiyongpang–Changtongya stretch with immediate effect until further order.

The decision follows severe road damage caused by recent flooding and landslides on July 19. The order was issued based on safety recommendations from the PWD (NH-2) and PWD (R&B), Tuli Division.

HoDs TO COLLECT INDEPENDENCE DAY INVITATION CARDS; ATTENDANCE MADE MANDATORY FOR DISTRICT OFFICIALS

 

 

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, has informed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to collect invitation cards and car passes for the Independence Day Celebration 2026 from the Establishment Branch of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Kohima.

According to a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, the invitation cards and car passes will be available for collection from August 13, 2026, during office hours.

HOME DEPARTMENT REVIEWS PREPARATIONS FOR HAR GHAR TIRANGA 2026 CAMPAIGN

 


The State Home Department held a review meeting on 30th July, 2026, to finalize preparations for the "Har Ghar Tiranga" 2026 campaign, scheduled to be observed across Nagaland from August 9th to 17th. The meeting was chaired by the Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS, and brought together senior officials from the Art & Culture, Youth Resources & Sports, Information & Public Relations, School Education, Home and Police departments.

CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER NAGALAND NOTIFIES ON SPECIAL INTENSIVE REVISION - PHASE III

 

 

The Chief Electoral Officer has notified that the Election Commission of India has ordered Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Roll in the State of Nagaland with 01-10-2026 as the qualifying date. While carrying out the SIR of the electoral rolls, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of each Assembly Constituency shall be responsible for ensuring that no eligible citizen is left out while no ineligible person is included in the Electoral Roll.
