The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, has invited applications from artistes, performers and cultural groups from the eight member States of NEZCC for fresh empanelment and renewal of empanelment.
The empanelment and renewal process will be completed by September 2026. The age of performing artists should generally be between 18 and 35 years, while musicians and accompanists may be considered up to 55 years, depending on the nature of the art form.

The Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (ZDLSA), in collaboration with Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital, Zunheboto, will organise a Medical Camp for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) on September 11, 2026, at Town Hall, Zunheboto, from 10:00 a.m. onwards.
The camp aims to facilitate the screening and identification of persons with disabilities, medical assessment by qualified medical professionals, and issuance of disability certificates to eligible persons.
The Department of Posts has introduced a new category of sales force, termed “Other Departmental Employee (ODE)”, to expand the outreach of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI).
Under the new provision, serving Central Government and State Government employees, other than employees of the Department of Posts, holding posts up to Level-8 of the Pay Matrix, will be eligible to engage as ODEs for procuring PLI/RPLI business.
The Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Food Safety, has informed for public awareness that in continuation to the enforcement of food safety laws in the state, the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court, Dimapur, on 4th August 2026 has convicted a Food Business Operator (FBO) under Section 59(i) of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA), 2006. The Court has sentenced the defaulting Food Business Operator to simple imprisonment and imposed a penalty of ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh).
